  • Dr. Madhu Vennikandam

MD

After graduating from Trivandrum Medical College, Kerala University (Kerala, India), Dr. Vennikandam (a.k.a Dr. Venni) pursued her Internal Medicine residency training at the John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, (Chicago, Illinois)and is board certified by the ABIM. She completed her Advanced Transplant Hepatology fellowship from the University Hospitals of Columbia and Cornell (New York, New York). She is currently a fellow in Gastroenterology at Sparrow Hospital, an affiliate teaching hospital of Michigan State University (East Lansing, Michigan) and a fellow clinical instructor at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. She is a rising star mentor for the All Kerala Medical Graduate (AKMG) residency and fellowship applicants. She is also a Physician Medical Contributor for ABC News and a Member of the Training Committee for the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG).

  • Dr. Michael Alebich

DO, FACP

Dr. Alebich (a.k.a Dr. Mike) brings more than a decade of experience in academic Internal Medicine to the MyDocDoor team. He trained at two urban academic medical centers and was elected to serve as a chief resident after his training. His current roles include mentoring medical students and residents, acting as medicine clerkship site director, and serving as core faculty for his institution’s internal medicine residency. He has been honored with numerous teaching awards by both students and residents and actively lectures at several Chicago-area medical schools. He is actively practicing hospital medicine, is board certified by the ABIM and has also been awarded the prestigious Fellowship of the American College of Physicians. He strongly maintains that maximizing potential requires positive and non-judgmental guidance and is eager to share his insights.
